Meet Caroline
It all started with my daughter Caroline and her 3rd grade school science project on nonother than, you guessed it, evaporation! Her mother called and said "you're the water parent, you and her will have fun doing it with her. While figuring out what to for this project, I was getting are freediving gear together I said, "after we go snorkeling" and she replied NO you're doing it now! Then her mother said just get some saltwater under Cato's Bridge! After doing so my kitchen looked like a seen from the movie "BLOW"! At the same time my brother walked in the garage to see his niece and said nice "looks like child cartel education! The asked what we were doing and told him about the project said "dude, sea salts are becoming a thing"! What started as a 3rd grade science project 3-1/2 years ago has now become Jupiter Salt Co. I've spent these years perfecting the art of salt making and truly believe you will find flavors in food you didn't know exisited before! Not to mention the stand alone taste is far superior to other sea salts. I promise you'll be eating the salt out of the jar!

Jupiter Salt Co. Use a combination of craftsmanship, technical solution, sun, wind, and tradition to craft our salt. All of these factors contribute to the essence of our work: creating an extraordinary product that enhances our everyday lives and makes each dining experience unique. We start by filtering the seawater through a custom made Harmsco® Suresafe® ".5" Anti-microbial Micron Cartridge. Harmsco® High Quality Suresafe® Cartridge that utilizes Silver Zeolite technology. Combining inert organic material with silver into our filter media enables our cartridges to help reduce odor-causing bacteria and inhibit growth of destructive mold and mildew on the filter cartridges. Luckly, salty water kills single-cell organisms such as mold spores by dehydrating them! Salt is also a microbial inhibitor which means that it prevents the growth of bacteria since it reduces the amount of water present. Thus the bacteria doesn't have a chance to grow and flourish!
